Jim Duncan Bench Dedication

Mount Diablo Junction Ranger Station

11 a.m. – 1p.m.

Sunday, March 26th

Rides Start at 9:30 a.m.

Details: Please join us for a ride up Mount Diablo to the Junction Ranger Station on March 26th, for the Jim Duncan Bench Dedication. We have asked a few individuals that worked, raced, or rode with Jim to share a few memories. We also welcome everyone to participate and share your memories as well—as this is not just a dedication but a celebration of his life and his commitment to the cycling community.

Everyone must register to attend, so if you plan to ride you must register for one of the two rides.

Junction Vehicle Parking: If you need to drive you must register for one of the 10 parking spots and we highly encourage carpooling. In all cases we will need a headcount, therefore each vehicle (driver) will need to register and also register their passengers/guests.

South Gate ride start location: Green Valley Elementary School parking lot at 1125 McCauley Rd, Danville and will be hosted by Ken.

North Gate ride start location: Arbolado Park parking lot located on Arbolado Drive, Walnut Creek and will be hosted by Kevin.

Coffee and cookies will be served, and water is available at the water fountain.

Lastly, we hope the weather cooperates, but we will keep an eye on it and if needed we will adjust.
